Everything You Need to Know About Week 3 of ‘The Bachelorette’

ABC/Craig Sjodin

Here’s everything that went down on week 3 of The Bachelorette.

A lot went down on the most recent episode of The Bachelorette. The episode picked up where week two left off, at the cocktail party with the men waiting around to get their time with Clare. Yosef is still mad about the dodgeball date and decides to confront Clare about his concerns. He pulled Clare aside to tell her it was “completely disrespectful” when she lectured the men the other week on not trying to pull her away fast enough to get one on one time. He then added how he was “absolutely appalled at the group date.” He even went on to call describe the date as “classless” and even stated he was “ashamed to be associated” with her.

Clare was quick to snap back and claimed, “don’t ever talk me like that” as the two continued to butt heads. The situation was so heated we had to take a step back to let it all sync in. They stated how they would never want each other to be the father or mother of their kids, and eventually, Yosef was sent home. Clare was upset about the matter (rightfully so), and Dale, aka prince charming, quickly stepped in to comfort her. She later confessed to producers, “all I’ve ever wanted is a man like Dale.” After what felt like a season’s worth of drama, Crawley cuts the cocktail party and jumps straight into the rose ceremony where Blake, Garin, and Tyler were sent home.

The next day Crawley decides to delay the group date, and have a really long cocktail party instead. Of course, Dale wastes no time and quickly steals Clare away back to her room. Forty minutes later, the men are wondering where they and aren’t too happy about it. Other contestants try to steal her away, only for Dale to swoop back in and get more time with the Bachelorette and end up getting the date rose.

Zach J and Clare have their one on one date, but Crowley can’t seem to get her mind off her favorite contestant, Dale. The two have a date at the spa and then relax at the pool after. Just as everything seems to be going well, Crawley leans in for a Kiss and claims that Zach J pulled away, which made for a notably awkward moment. Crawley gets upset by the uncomfortable encounter and cancels their dinner date, ultimately leaving the contestant to immediately go home, yikes.

The next date is centered around a comedy roast with a guest appearance from Margaret Cho. The men are given the task to “roast” each other in a funny way, but all the contestants immediately target Dale. Bennet didn’t hold back and stated “your speeches make absolutely no sense, and I’ve witnessed three cameramen collapse after falling asleep listening to you.” Tensions were definitely high and Crawley didn’t seem happy about the men making Dale their target.

Crawley later on awards none of the men the date night rose and instead gave it to herself. In an even crazier turn of events, she refers to Dale as her fiance in a conversation with a producer about the roast stating, “you dished on my fiance so hard.” The men don’t seem happy about all her focus on Dale and threaten to walk out. The episode ends with a clip of Tayshia Adams coming out of a pool, hinting that she will be soon taking over the season.

We know you’ve heard it all before, but this might be “the most dramatic season yet.” We pride Crawley on standing her ground however and knowing what she wants.
