Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi Recreate the Iconic Couple Photo of Elvis and Priscilla Presley for Halloween
The couple shared their reinvention of the classic Elvis and Priscilla Presley look.
Recently for Halloween, Kaia Gerber and her boyfriend, Jacob Elordi, shared their Halloween costumes on Instagram, along with confirming their relationship. The couple decided to go for King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley and his wife, Priscilla Presley. Gerber wanted to recreate a specific photo of the famous couple. With the help of Gerber’s makeup artist Sam Visser, hairstylist Charlie Le Mindu, and clothing brand Charlotte Knowles, she had transform perfectly into Priscilla Presley. The look Gerber wanted to recreate was inspired by the 70s, with the photo of Priscilla driving her white Mercedes.

To transform into Priscilla, the model sported a lavender eyeshadow, along with dark eyeliner, creating a dramatic, sexy effect. She pairs the look with a matching purple blouse, Charlotte Knowles flares, a gold watch, and a cross necklace. Whereas her boyfriend Elordi wore aviators, along with a blue suit and little makeup.

Gerber’s makeup artist shared, “We definitely wanted to incorporate the lavender-grayish toned eyeshadow Priscilla would wear. Along with that, we wanted to do a variation of her famous eyeliner. We settled on this one eyeliner look of her in a car where she has a pale cream eyeliner on the inner rim of her eye and a dark black line underneath her lower lash line and upper lash line. It was dramatic and still sexy.”
Gerber’s hairstylist also shared her techniques on the hairstyle. Charlie Le Mindu mentions, “I used my famous drag technique to backcomb the hair, but also having worked in so many opera houses now, the most important part is that the tulle in front than needed to be fitted and cut specially to her head. That’s what makes it look like her own hair.”
