Pop-rock musical duo Twenty One Pilots has just dropped a brand new song for the holiday season.
Twenty One Pilots just released a new festive song called “Christmas Saves The Year.” This new tune was written and recorded in the home of Twenty One Pilots member Tyler Joseph. While still having that familiar cheery holiday sound to it, the lyrics definitely pull on your heartstrings.

The song reflects the feelings of isolation that many have faced during 2020, and the longing to see loved ones over the holiday season. “But everybody wants to make it home this year / Even if the world is crumbling down,” sings Joseph. He then spreads a message of hope that needs to be heard, singing “You rest assured / Christmas saves the year.” The song is very chill and is a good one to relax to during this holiday season, no matter how unordinary this holiday season may be.
With the release of the brand new Christmas song, the band also dropped a music video to go along with it. The video offers and warm and nostalgic vibe, featuring old festive photographs, videos, and cards arranged like a virtual scrapbook.
