The untitled docuseries will provide insight and a behind-the-scenes view of the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter’s life. The project is produced by Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s Westbrook Media. The Smith family is already acquainted with Keys after appearing on the Red Table Talk, back in October 2019. The Facebook watch show is hosted by Jada, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Jones.

The excitement around this project will bolster news about their other upcoming YouTube Original projects like the four-part series Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil, premiering on March 23, produced by OBB Pictures and SB Projects, and the K-Pop Evolution docuseries, premiering March 31, produced by Banger Films.

Well not much is known yet about the content of the docuseries, it is expected to show an insight into Keys life and her journey in the music industry.

News broke of the series at the Television Critics Association (TCA) Winter Press Tour. “So Done,” Key’s single featuring Khalid continues to make its way up on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart, despite being released about 6 months ago in September 2020. The single is from her newest album ALICIA, which was named one of the best R&B albums of 2020 according to Rated R&B. Keys is also expected to appear on DMX’s upcoming album.

This song and album were considered a musical breakthrough for the artist, and fans can expect the same from the series. Though an exact date hasn’t been released, the series is expected to premiere later this year.
