Rising Star Ashe Announces Highly-Anticipated Collaboration With Finneas
Ashe and Finneas have set the release of their collaboration to debut on March 2.
A major announcement came to fans on February 22 when the pair posted the same photo on each of their Instagram pages.

Before the announcement, Ashe had made a TikTok giving clues about who her collab partner would be. Within the next couple of days, Finneas responded. He had stared at the camera and started counting on his hands the number of clues given. In the end, he smiled, indicating that they had been working together.
Despite the announcement, no title was given for the track, and no context as to the genre was explored either. On February 22, Ashe tweeted the letters, “tffa.” This led to assumptions about the possible title for the track, some more serious than others. Ashe nor Finneas have confirmed anything other than their collaboration.
i’m guessing those are the initials of the song

To fall for another? They feed frogs avocados? The fish find Amazon? They feed fluffy animals? They finally found Ashe? The forest feels awesome?

Ashe and Finneas have a history of writing songs and working together, and they appear to have a strong friendship which perhaps helps their artistry. They met around 2016 during a songwriting session. This led to an instant connection; their ability to share and create seems to stem from both their raw and emotional appeals.
Insider’s May 2020 interview with Ashe stated, “‘But when we first met, like I said, it wasn’t a romantic connection at all,” she continues. “It was just some unexplainable — not even a cerebral, ‘we make sense, we understand each other’ thing. And it wasn’t like, ‘I need to foster this relationship because he’s famous,’ because he wasn’t famous when we met.’”
Ashe, an American singer-songwriter, is best known for her track “Moral of the Story.” After being featured in Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before: P.S. I Still Love You, Ashe garnered mass attention. She releases Indie Pop, Indie Folk, and Electropop music under the record label Mom + Pop Music.
Finneas is a singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is most well known as a co-writer for his sister, Billie Eilish. At only 23 years old, he has co-written and produced multiple tracks for a variety of artists. These include: “Moral of the Story” for Ashe, “Satellite” for Rebecca Black, “Lose You To Love Me” for Selena Gomez, and much more. Finneas has also had roles in Glee, Bad Teacher, Life Inside Out, and Confessions of a Teenage Jesus Jerk.
This collaboration has been held very secretive on its details with no peep of a title release. The buzz and excitement seem to render effective as many fans await March 2 for the duo’s release.
