Spider-Man 3‘s cast, Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon, and Zendaya, take to social media sharing three different titles for the film, leaving fans confused.

The Marvel original, Spider-Man 3 has a release date set for December 17, 2021. The upcoming film is still left nameless…or is it? The cast of the Spider-Man 3 sequel took to Instagram late Tuesday, February 23 teasing fans with three different titles. In keeping with the theme the past two movies have set, all three of the teased titles include the word “home.”

Actor Tom Holland posted to Instagram an unseen photo from the unreleased film captioned “So excited to announce the new Spider-Man title. Can’t wait for you lot to see what we have been up to.” In the second picture was another photo with the apparent title of the sequel which he claims is Spider-Man: Phone Home. Fans were quickly suspicious of the announcement, further confused by fellow co-star’s comments that went against Holland’s title.

Moments later in another post, co-star Jacob Batalon posted an image from the set captioned, “Swipe right for the big reveal” where he announced a different title which was, Spider-Man: Home Wrecker.

But wait, it gets better.

The talented Zendaya, who also stars in the upcoming film, chimed in when she took to Instagram sharing a photo of herself, Holland, and Batalon captioned, “So excited to announce the new Spider-Man title” claiming that the title is actually, Spider-Man: Home Slice.

Whether the titles are legit or not, it appears that the cast was having fun trolling fans with the title of the anticipated Spider-Man 3. Marvel nor Sony Pictures are yet to confirm what the cast has posted to social media, but it left fans with many questions.

Holland is set to appear on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show on Tuesday, February 23 so we can hope for some answers as to what the real title is. Regardless, we are still excited that the cast at least shared some behind-the-scenes photos to social media.
