Madison Beer Releases Her Debut Album ‘Life Support’

Europa – All Day and Night

Seven years ago, Madison Beer dropped her first single, and today she released her debut album, Life Support.

Though this is Beer’s first album, she is not new to the music industry. Back in 2012, she began uploading YouTube videos of her singing covers of songs. One of the videos made its way to Justin Bieber, who was in awe of her voice. It wasn’t long after that she entered a record deal with Island Records, signed by Bieber. She released her first single, “Melodies,” in September of 2013. Her music video for “Melodies” features Bieber and, in a way, references the way she was discovered.

In 2016, Beer parted ways with Island Records due to issues with what she wanted for her music versus what the label wanted. She did not jump into another record deal until 2019 when she signed with Epic Records. During her time unsigned, she released her first EP album. Her single “Home With You” peaked on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart, making her the only female solo artist on the charts without being signed to a label.

After signing with Epic Records, she began to work on her debut album, which was released today, February 26. The album titled Life Support has a total of 17 songs. Most of the album tracks talk about the singer’s struggles with mental health, and many of her fans relate to that. Social media has been flooding with fan reactions to listening to Beer’s album for the first time and how it spoke to them on a deep level.

Within hours of the albums released, it climbed its way to #2 on the iTunes charts. The album comes on the ten-year anniversary of when she started her YouTube channel, where it all began for her. In an interview with People Magazine, she said currently her favorite song from the album is “Sour Times.”

We want to send a huge congratulations to Madison Beer on the release of her album. You can listen to her album Life Support on all major music platforms.
