Chanel Gives the Role of Ambassador to Whitney Peak, New Star of HBO Max’s ‘Gossip Girl’
Whitney Peak is Chanel’s new IT girl as she takes on the role of Ambassador at the ever-chic fashion house.
She has her burgeoning acting career to thank as Peak takes on a lead role in the new Gossip Girl reboot to premiere later this year. It’s easy to see why the iconic brand chose her as a face fresh—it’s certain to be everywhere once the show airs.
While she may seem like new talent, you’ve surely seen her before as Judith in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix and in Molly’s Game directed by Aaron Sorkin. Due to her new role she has officially made the move to NYC, something that, she notes, is similar to her character, “She is new to NYC, so we were both kind of navigating that. She’s real, imperfect, bruised, and broken but still prevails and continues to wish only happiness for those in her life. Learning from her mistakes and always choosing to stay true to herself in the end.”
Many fans have already begun expressing their excitement to see Peak as the latest Chanel Ambassador.

While we don’t have too many details on Peak’s upcoming character or the narrative of the show, we know that she is an avid fan of the original Gossip Girl as most of us. However, she gets a taste of the same luxury that the show’s characters experience with her new role as Ambassador of Chanel. She gets to wear the clothes, sit front row at the fashion show, and be featured in the mass-media on the regular. Certainly reminiscent of Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen if you asked Gossip Girl.
