BTS Makes History as First K-Pop Artist to Perform at the Grammy’s With Performance of ‘Dynamite,’ Live From South Korea

BTS may not have won an award at the Grammy's this year, but the k-pop group’s performance of “Dynamite” live from South Korea definitely made up for it. Jungkook, Jimin, V, J-hope, RM, Jin, and Suga shared their killer vocals and dance moves at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. Though the band members were unable to be in Los Angeles with the other artists performing, the group was able to put on a great performance of their Grammy-nominated hit single “Dynamite,” which was broadcasted live all the way from Seoul, South Korea.

The k-pop supergroup was able to recreate the Grammy red carpet and stage for the performance to make it seem like they were right there at the Los Angeles Convention Center with the rest of the nominees. The stage was beautifully set-up with flowers hanging from the ceiling and sparklers shooting around the band as they performed.

The band took their stunning performance to the next level, running up the stairs of the venue while performing, and finishing the second half of the song from the roof, overlooking the city of Seoul. This performance made history as the first k-pop act to ever perform on the Grammy stage.

The super-group looked great for the performance, with wonderfully coordinated yellow, orange, black, and white suits and multi-colored microphones in their hands. Although the band wasn’t able to take home a Grammy for the song, which was nominated under the category of Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, fans still had BTS trending on Twitter as they shared their love for the “Dynamite” performance.
