IDENTITY, a virtual celebration for AAPI heritage month, has released the lineup for their 2021 event, sharing that ATEEZ will be one of the headliners and MONSTA X’s I.M will share a special performance. The online show will take place on May 15 at 5:00 pm PST/8:00 pm EST and will act as a fundraiser for Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage month. The event is presented by Amazon Music and will be streamed on Twitch.

IDENTITY 2021 is set to include an array of notable musicians as well as a “Changing the Game” sports panel. The virtual show is put on by the Pacific Bridge Arts Foundation to benefit musician scholarships that will provide funds and resources for Asian American Native Hawaiin and Pacific Islanders pursuing musical arts education. Along with that, funds raised during the show will benefit the AAPI Community fund and Gold House’s GoFundMe collaboration empowering local grassroots organizations.

ATEEZ is a major k-pop group formed by KQ Entertainment who has gained immense popularity, gathering followings of over 2 million on Twitter and 4 million on Instagram since their debut in 2018. The group has been announced as one of the headlining performers for the upcoming virtual show. Although not on the officially-released setlist, Pacific Bridge Arts’ website shared that MONSTA X’s I.M will put on a special performance during the show. This news comes just months following the singer’s release of his highly anticipated solo digital mini-album, DUALITY
