The Cameron Boyce Foundation Partners With Tower28 for Epilepsy Research
The Cameron Boyce Foundation is teaming up with beauty brand Tower28 to release a special lipgloss in memory of Cameron Boyce.
Tower28 has released their popular ShineOn Lip Jelly in the shade “WILD,” a limited-edition raspberry, violet shade. All profits made from the fundraiser, Wild for a Cure, will go towards epilepsy research and fund the Cameron Boyce Taking Flight Award. This award will provide $100,000 to a researcher to assist their academic career in studying SUDEP—the sudden, unexpected death of someone with epilepsy—in honor of the talented actor who passed away from SUDEP in 2019.
The lip gloss launch has a meaningful sentiment for Tower28’s branding staff Paulina Daccarett-Char. Char was extremely close with Cameron and thought of him as family.
In a statement to TeenVogue, she said, “To honor Cameron means the world to me. He will always be a part of me, the brother I never had… Having the opportunity to bring awareness to SUDEP, alongside Cam’s family and my work family at Tower28, is an absolute privilege. I hope this partnership sheds light on SUDEP and the pivotal work of The Cameron Boyce Foundation.”

The whole family is involved in Wild for a Cure. Cameron’s sister, Maya Boyce, is the face of the campaign. She is fond of the beauty brand and what they stand for.
When speaking to TeenVogue, Maya stated, “I love the people that work for Tower28 and admire that it’s a female and POC-owned business… I appreciate that they represent what modern-day people actually look like and that this diversity carries through to representatives of the company. I’m so excited for the launch of WILD, which is a gorgeous, vibrant shade that I know people will feel proud to wear while supporting our mission at TCBF.”
