ColourPop Dives Under the Sea With New Little Mermaid Collection
ColourPop announced their new Little Mermaid collection, ready to hit the shelves, and we’re ready to dive deep under the sea. The beauty brand, known for its creative collabs across a slew of IPs from Bratz to The Grinch, is now channeling Disney’s 1989 animated film The Little Mermaid.
This collection is a perfect “just because” gift for any fan of the film, but much like the rest of their collections, it’s destined to sell out fast.
ColourPop announced the new collection just a few days after spring, and the “Under the Sea” eyeshadow palette ($22) reflects that. The 12-pan palette comprised of pastel tones symbolizing different characters and scenery. As always, the pigmented shades come in six different finishes like matte, shimmer, metallic, matte sparkle, pearlescent glitter, super shock, and their new chrome shades– perfect for an array of fun looks.
They also released their fan-favorite lip kits in two more shades. “Part of Your World” ($16) is a deep, vibrant red shade, mimicking Ariel’s famous locks. On the other hand, “The Ocean Will Be Mine” is a rich mauve shade, representing the deep-sea menace, Ursula.
For an extra glossy boost, their “Find Your Voice” lip oil ($12) is a two-toned gloss that goes on clear but is formulated with holographic flakes for extra sparkle when the light catches it.
Looking for an extra pop to your look? ColourPop dropped two new multichrome highlighters inspired by Flounder and Sebastian. Shade “Soft Shell” ($12) is a pinky violet hue with copper undertones. “Not a Guppy” is on the other side of the spectrum with a minty green, silver tone.
Now, this collection isn’t all makeup– it also comes with two adorable accessories. “The Little Mermaid Mirror” is a seashell-shaped compact mirror, perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. Speaking of on-the-go, they released the “Flounder hair clip” ($10), an iridescent clip is the cutest touch to any look.
ColourPop’s Little Mermaid is out now on the brand’s website and swims over to Amazon on April 2.
