Megan Thee Stallion knows how to put on a show. The artist and rapper, 26, busted out her moves and blew everyone out of the water in her recent performance at the BET Awards. She performed her hit song Thot Sh*t.

Megan went on stage wearing a veil and a blonde wig while cladded in leather. From there, she owned the stage, hitting one note after another in a powerful tune. She certainly knows to command a stage while looking fabulous.

The rapper was nominated for seven awards and won four, including Best Hip-Hop Artist and Song of the Year. Not only has Megan been known for her catchy beats, but she has collaborated with a number of artists, such as Cardi B and Ariana Grande. Megan accepted her awards with grace and humility, thanking her mother, who passed away in 2019.

“I think highly of all the women nominated in this category. Everybody knows I am a girl’s girl, and I just want to say thank you, mama,” Megan said with tears filling her eyes. “Thank you, mama, for even putting it in me to want to be a female rapper and putting the work ethic inside of me and the drive and the push.”

“She can’t be here with me today, but I still think about her every day, and she is the reason why I keep going,” she added. “I just want to say thank you to all the women who support me because it’s really appreciated.”
