Ariana Grande encourages fans to start their mental health journey by partnering with Better Help to provide up to $2 million of free therapy. The star has always been outspoken about the importance of a balanced mind, so it is no surprise to see her go above and beyond to carry out the message wholeheartedly.

On June 29, Ariana Grande announced she is giving away $1 million of free therapy with the e-counseling platform Better Help. Better Help is today’s largest online counseling provider, doing its best to make therapy accessible for those who are struggling.

“Thrilled to be working with @betterhelp to give away $1,000,000 of free therapy!” Grande began optimistically on Instagram. “While acknowledging that therapy should not be for a privileged few but something everyone has access to and acknowledging that this doesn’t fix that issue in the long run, I really wanted to do this anyway in hopes of inspiring you to dip a toe in, to feel okay asking for help, and to hopefully rid your minds of any sort of self-judgment in doing so!”

Better Help later revealed they would be matching the singer’s generous donation, making the event reach a total of $2 million worth of free therapy. Fans are following Grande’s guidance and taking the steps to a brighter and promising future.

During Mental Health Month in May, Grande also raised awareness by sharing supportive resources on her social media channels. Within an educational thread, the Grammy artist stated, “healing isn’t linear, fun, quick, or at all easy but we are here and we’ve got to commit to making this time as healthy, peaceful, and beautiful as possible.”

Grande has also opened up about her own mental health struggles, especially the PTSD she experienced after the Manchester bombing that occurred during a concert in 2017. “When I got home from tour, I had really wild dizzy spells, this feeling like I couldn’t breathe,” she recalled in an interview with Elle. “I would be in a good mood, fine and happy, and they would hit me out of nowhere. There were a couple of months straight where I felt so upside down.”

Overall, Ariana Grande is sparking light of healing for her fans, and it is truly inspiring. Recently, the icon released a fun YouTube live performance of her hit “pov,” which comes from her latest album titled Positions. The video did not fail to impress as the singer showcased her legendary high-notes and rifts.

Ariana also just dropped more exciting news. Coming August 1, her new fragrance called God Is A Woman will be released in all Ulta beauty stores. Between philanthropy, merchandise, and expected music, Ariana Grande has quite the summer ahead of her. Until more information comes out, fans patiently wait to see what’s next for their idol.
