Ariana Grande Releases Stunning Live Music Video for ‘POV’
After releasing hit album Positions in October of 2020, Ariana Grande has released more content for fans with a new live music video for her newest ballad, “POV.” Collaborating for a Vevo Original, the music video was released June 21, at 9 am PST/12 pm EST, and it looks beautiful.
After posting a few mystery photos two days before the music video release, fans of the singer were in utter confusion for the past two days. Grande was seen rocking her signature half-up, half-down hairstyle, along with a cute two-piece set featuring a black bralette top with cutouts and black leather pants. What shocked fans the most were the long shiny purple gloves on her hands and the sheer fact she was holding a mic in her hand, which led many to believe they were getting a concert of some sort. Eventually, the singer revealed to her fanbase of Arianators she collaborated with Vevo to release a special live music video, “POV.”
Grande performed flawlessly against an iridescent stage set, full of beautiful flowers and tall grass. Alongside the gorgeous setup was a live band and some background tracks to help enhance the live performance. The singer started completely acapella, with a bright light shining behind her as she walked down the stage, which eventually faded into a purple light and revealed the band on the left and right sides of the stage. The purple lighting shone brightly against the flowers and the singer’s outfit, only making Ariana look even better than she already does. The singer who constantly performs well live gave her all with this music video and did so effortlessly.
A few weeks ago, getting married, Ariana Grande has not stopped releasing content for her adoring fanbase. Recently performing alongside friend Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd for the iHeartRadio Music Awards, the singer seems to be slowly returning to doing live performances. Just last week, the singer met up with James Corden for an electric Hairspray, inspired performance on his show, and not long ago, Grande was also revealed to be one of the new coaches for the hit show The Voice; this fall. Keeping herself booked and busy, the content from Grande shouldn’t be stopping anytime soon.
