Nicki Minaj has some exciting news for her fans. The rapper, 38, took to social media, sharing that she has something “very important” to announce on her Instagram live on Thursday, July 8 at 10:30 pm Eastern Time.

Last month, the rapper alluded to a possible album release during Instagram Live.
“When I make that announcement, that’s when I’ma go live again and pop a different level of sh*t.”

That’s when many theories were formed about what Minaj is going to announce. The hashtag #NickiIsComing has been trending on Twitter since she posted the tweet, and the announcement she posted on her Instagram received millions of views. Fans suspect she could be dropping another album since “Queen” debuted approximately three years ago. Since then, she had released four different singles in 2020: “Yikes,” “Fractions,” “Crocodile Tears,” and “Seeing Green,” which she sang with Lil Wayne and Drake.
Another theory being tossed around is that she’s going to give an update regarding her HBO Max docuseries. Emmy-nominated director Michael John Warren will direct the six-episode series. The series will give unfiltered access into Minaj’s life, both personally and professionally. In 2013, a documentary of the rapper was filmed called Nicki Minaj: Pink Planet, which dives into Minaj’s road to success.
