Madame Tussauds Unveils New Project for Little Mix Wax Figures

Madame Tussauds London confirmed a new project unveiling wax figures featuring the popular British girl group, Little Mix.

Known for their striking resemblance to actual celebrities, Madame Tussauds London has unleashed several wax figures in the past from celebrities and artists ranging from the late Michael Jackson, the late Bob Marley, Rihanna, and more. Mixers can get excited as the popular girl group will be the latest wax figures to join the collection this summer.

To be included in this collection featuring the biggest artists around the world is truly an honor. After 10 long years of waiting, the group posted their sincere appreciation and utmost excitement about getting their own wax figurines on their official Instagram page.

Officials from the company released a statement announcing the launch of the Little Mix wax figures in which the statement mentioned the girls being there every step of the way. Since early 2020, the trio has “attended sitting where hundreds of precise measurements were taken, [and helped] advise on precise styling details for the final chosen look.”

Mixers have long-awaited to see Little Mix get the recognition they deserve. Many tweeted their reactions upon hearing the announcement.

Even the members of the group couldn’t keep quiet about getting their first-ever wax figures. Leigh-Anne Pinnock said, “We can’t wait for our fans to see the figures! We hope they love them as much as we do!”

Tim Waters, General Manager at Madame Tussauds London, had a few words about adding Little Mix to their intricate wax figures collection. “Little Mix are, without a doubt, the biggest girl band on the planet. They’ve had a meteoric rise over the last 10 years, and we couldn’t think of a better way to mark this milestone anniversary than by giving the fans what they want – the first-ever Little Mix figures! Our artists have loved working with the band on their likenesses, and we can’t wait to welcome Mixers through our doors once the figures have been unveiled this summer.”

While details involving the figurines are remaining tight-lipped, fans can expect cheers and applause upon the unveiling of the figures. A final clue was added to get fans intrigued, suggesting, “fans can expect to see one of Little Mix’s most popular videos from the past ten years immortalized at the attraction, featuring all four members of the band in outfits from that moment; in time.”
