A Complete List of Nominees for the First-Ever HCA TV Awards

Actors McKenna Grace and Brooklyn Prince announced the nominees for the first-ever HCA TV Awards via Livestream earlier this month. The Hollywood Critics Association is handing out trophies on Aug. 22 during a ceremony at Avalon Hollywood.

Gearing up for its second season on July 23, the popular Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso has a leading eight nominations. It is up for Best Streaming Comedy Series, while star Jason Sudeikis was nominated for Best Actor. Hulu’s Handmaid’s Tale follows close behind with seven nominations.

Ted Lasso is not only the most nominated comedy this year, but with 20 nominations is now THE MOST Nominated Freshman Comedy in Emmy History!!!
