‘House of Gucci’ Releases New Movie Posters and Trailer
House of Gucci, an upcoming drama film from MGM Studios, released cast posters on social media on July 29.
House of Gucci centers around the marriage and divorce between Patrizia Reggiani and Maurizio Gucci, the grandson of Gucci founder, Guccio. The dramatic divide between the couple leads to murder. The trailer is glamorous, sexy, and scandalous. The lives of the Gucci family go from successfully wealthy to criminal.

Patrizia will be played by Grammy Award-winner and A Star Is Born actress Lady Gaga. Patrizia was a socialite and fashion personality. As she stirs a cup of tea in the trailer, she remarks, “I don’t consider myself to be a particularly ethical person, but I am fair.”

Maurizio will be played by Marriage Story star Adam Driver. Maurizio was a businessman and head of Gucci. In 1995, he was killed by a hitman. Patrizia was convicted of arranging his murder in 1998.
Suicide Squad’s Jared Leto will play Paolo Gucci, design chief of the fashion house and key player in the family’s conflict. Paolo was fired from the fashion house by his grandfather and died in a hospital at age 64 of an unreleased cause.
Al Pacino will play Aldo Gucci, Paolo’s father, Maurizio’s uncle, and eldest son of Guccio Gucci. In 1983, Maurizio started a legal battle against him for complete control of Gucci.
Lolita star Jeremy Irons will play Rodolfo Gucci, who was an actor and Maurizio’s father. Maurizio inherited his stake in the company after his death in 1983.
House of Gucci is based on the book, The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed, by Sara Gay Forden. The film is directed by Ridley Scott and produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Other members of the cast include Camille Cottin and Salma Hayek.
