Rihanna Becomes a Self-Made Billionaire as an Entrepreneur
Rihanna is now one of the world’s wealthiest females as she’s officially become a self-made billionaire through her skills in fashion and entrepreneurship.
Forbes mentioned Wednesday that Rihanna is “now worth $1.7 billion,” making her one of the richest entertainers in the world. The Grammy-award-winning artist has joined the ranks of Oprah Winfrey and other celebrities who have joined the billionaire club.
Rihanna is known for many things. Fans admire her and reminisce over some of her top hits including, “We Found Love,” “Diamonds,” and “Work.” Even away from music, the Barbadian singer is definitely putting in work as she changes the game in the fashion industry and for women all over the world.

According to Forbes and various news sources, the majority of Rihanna’s wealth comes from her cosmetic brand, Fenty Beauty, at an estimated $1.4 billion, where she owns 50%. The remaining wealth stems from the lingerie brand, SavagexFenty, worth an estimated $270 million.
Fenty Beauty launched back in September 2017 to provide high-quality makeup and cosmetics for a multitude of different skin complexions. Shannon Coyne, the co-founder of consumer products consultancy Bluestock Advisors, told Forbes, “A lot of women felt there were no lines out there that catered to their skin tone. It was light, medium, medium-dark, dark. ‘We all know that’s not reality. She was one of the first brands that came out and said, ‘I want to speak to all of those different people,” Coyne said.
As money is pouring into the actress’s bank account, people tweeted their love and support for Rihanna upon learning that she is officially a billionaire.
