Showcasing a gorgeous headshot that features on-point makeup and a stylish denim fit, Lovato captions their tweet: “I’m so excited to be a part of the @19thnews #19thRepresents Virtual Summit and to explore why #RepresentationMatters in entertainment. The 19th Represents Summit began back in 2020 by 19th News, making this the second annual event. The 19th aims to empower women, women of color, and the LGBTQ+ community. Hosting events like these to have deep, interactive conversations is definitely a great step to reach this goal of inspirational support.

Demi Lovato is the perfect candidate to talk at 19th Represents. Coming out to the world as non-binary, openly encouraging others to care about mental health, and showing their healing process through personal trauma, Lovato is quite the role model for the growing youth.
The full event is from August 16 to August 20. The public can sign up for the Virtual 19th Represents Summit here.
Recently, Demi Lovato’s music video for “Dancing with the Devil” was nominated for the VMA award Video For Good. Be sure to check it out above.
