Sydney McLaughlin Teams up With New Balance for New Apparel and Sneaker Collection
On August 16, New Balance and Sydney McLaughlin released a new collection called the New Balance x Sydney Signature Collection. The collection includes performance running shoes and clothes that display McLaughlin’s personal style.
The Olympian stated, “It’s a dream come true to create my first signature collection with New Balance and to truly be part of the process from start to finish. This collection is all about staying true to yourself with pieces that inspire people to be authentically true to who they are.”

For the collection, the main message is “Be the first you.” McLaughlin described the collection as reflecting her own growth as a person and as an athlete. Additionally, the Olympian is hoping to inspire those who wear the attire and sneakers.

On the New Balance website, the McLaughlin collection is shown to have crop tops, sports bras, tights, T-shirts, hoodies, fitted shorts, shoes, and accessories. The fashion showcases McLaughlin’s own style, and the athlete explained, “If I look good, I feel good, and then I do good.”

Sydney McLaughlin is a 22-year-old track runner from New Jersey who won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics for the 400-meter hurdles race. McLaughlin also won a gold medal in the 4×400-meter relay with 35-year-old track and field sprinter Allyson Felix.
