Power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z snag their first campaign together as the new faces for luxury jewelry line, Tiffany & Co. The Carters celebrate their first campaign together, and a trail of historic firsts as Beyonce officially became the first Black woman to wear the iconic Tiffany diamond necklace.

The Carters are officially the new ambassadors of Tiffany & Co.’s About Love ad campaign. The sought-after Jewelry line proudly announced that Beyonce made fashion history as the first Black woman to ever wear the legendary 128.54-carat diamond necklace. Founded in 1877, it is one of the most important gemstones to be discovered of the 19th century.

The Grammy Award-winning entertainer stunned in one of the world’s largest yellow diamonds alongside her husband, Jay-Z. Mrs. Carter looked exquisite in a modern-day Audrey Hepburn ensemble that included a sleek black, curve-hugging gown paired with mesh opera-length gloves.

Business mogul and rapper Jay-Z rocked a classic black and white tuxedo accessorized with a Jean Schlumberger Apollo brooch.

Photographed by Mason Poole, Basquiat’s Tiffany blue Equals Pi painting also makes a historic appearance throughout the creative campaign as its first reveal to the public.

Executive vice president of product and communications, Alexandre Arnault, said in a release:

“Beyoncé and Jay-Z are the epitomai of the modern love story. As a brand that has always stood for love, strength, and self-expression, we could not think of a more iconic couple that better represents Tiffany’s values. We are honored to have the Carters as a part of the Tiffany family.”

Although other precious jewels such as a 22-carat yellow diamond ring and an 18-carat yellow and rose gold bracelet was featured throughout the campaign, the legendary yellow diamond donned by Queen Bey steals the show as the campaign’s ultimate statement piece.

In addition, as part of the campaign, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have also filmed a video snippet featuring Beyoncé’s take on “Moon River,” a song from the 1961 classic movie Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Tiffany & Co also plans to donate $2 million from the campaign towards scholarship and internship programs for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) as part of the partnership.

Tiffany & Co.’s About Love will launch globally on Thursday, September 2, 2021, followed by the super couple’s film on the official site on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.
