The court has granted rap sensation Megan Thee Stallion the greenlight to release her new remix with BTS, “Butter”. After yet, another legal battle with her record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, the Houston rapper proves she can be unstoppable.

It’s official! After a legal victory, BTS and Megan Thee Stallion will be dropping “Butter” remix this week and fans are going absolutely bonkers.

According to Billboard, Megan Thee Stallion formerly known as Megan Pete mentioned in court docs that the record label’s refusal to allow the remix’s release could’ve had a negative impact on her career. The judge later ruled in Pete’s favor this past Tuesday, allowing the release for the highly anticipated remix with the K-pop supergroup.

Pete also recently won a case against 1501 Entertainment when she sued for being blocked from releasing her EP, Suga and was granted a temporary restraining order.

On another note, the original song for Butter is now the “longest leading hit of 2021” and has spent a total of nine weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The addition of the Houston Hottie spice is more than enough to turn up the heat as the Hottie fanbase meets ARMY.

In addition, Megan Thee Stallion recently became the first woman with three No. 1 streaming songs within a year. Now that the award-winning rapper will be expanding her fanbase internationally, it’s safe to say there could be another one on the way.

“Butter” remix will be released on Friday, August 27, 2021. Click here to watch the official music video for the original hit.
