The Cast of New Netflix Show, ‘Wednesday,’ Has Been Announced
The cast of Netflix’s new show Wednesday has revealed its cast. It’s already been confirmed that Jenna Orega will be starring as Wednesday Addams herself. Luis Guzman and Catherine Zeta-Jones will be guests as Wednesday’s iconic parents/couple, Gomez and Morticia.
Additional cast members include Riki Lindhome (Knives Out), Thora Birch (The Walking Dead), Joy Sunday (Dear White People), Georgie Farmer (The Evermoor Chronicles), Emma Myers (Girl in the Basement), Jamie McShane (Bloodline), Moosa Mostafa (The Last Bus), Hunter Doohan (Truth Be Told), Naomi J. Ogawa (Skylin3s), and Percy Hynes White (The Gifted) have all joined the cast. Below are who each actor is playing.

Riki Lindhome will play Dr. Valerie Kinbott Wednesday’s and the local town’s therapist.
Thora Birch will be playing Tamara Novak, Wednesday “Dorm Mother” who happens to be the only normal person at Nevermore Academy.
Joy Sunday will be playing Bianca Barclay, the popular girl at Nevermore Academy who happens to be a descendant of sirens.
Georgie Farmer will be playing Ajax Petropolis, an awkward and shy student at Nevermore Academy who happens to be a Gorgon.
Emma Myers will be playing Enid Sinclair, a perky and upbeat Californian who comes from a line of werewolves.
Jamie McShane will be playing Sheriff Donovan Galpin, the town’s sheriff who has a troubled relationship with his son. He has issues with Nevermore Academy.
Moosa Mostafa will be playing quirky Eugene Ottinger, the president of Nevermore Academy’s bee-keeping club.
Hunter Doohan will be playing Tyler Galpin, one of Wednesday’s friends who has a strained relationship with Donovan Galpin’s father, the town’s sheriff.
Naomi J. Ogawa will be playing Nevermore Academy’s popular vampire named Yoko Tanaka.
Percy Hynes White will be playing Xavier Thorpe, the son of the wealthy physic who is a gifted artist.

The show will center around Wednesday Addams, a student at a New England school called Nevermore Academy. Wednesday learns to master her psychic abilities while developing friendships and solving a local murder spree that has terrorized the school.

Tim Burton will serve as executive director of the show. Al Gough and Miles Millar are writers of the show. The first eight episodes will be available upon release. Although there hasn’t been an official air date, it is assumed to come out sometime in the fall of 2022 or 2023. While fans wait for more details, 1964 show The Addams Family can be streamed on Amazon Prime, and the 1990s movies can be streamed on Paramount+. The animated movie The Addams Family 2 will hit theaters on October 1, 2021
