Jennifer Lawrence Announces She’s Taking on the Exciting New Role of Being a Mother
Congratulations are in order for Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and her husband Cooke Maroney, who have some exciting news to share. A source from the Lawrence camp confirmed with PEOPLE on Thursday that the couple is expecting their first child together.

The lovebirds married in a Newport, Rhode Island ceremony almost two years ago, surrounded by friends, family, and a star-studded variety of celebrity guests. Witnesses to their holy matrimony included Bradley Cooper, Cameron Diaz, and Adele.
Ever since then, the couple, who is notoriously private with their personal lives, has been enjoying their wedded bliss, but it seems that they’re finally ready for their family to grow. It is believed that the parents-to-be plan to raise their future child in an ‘epic’ Beverly Hills mansion that Lawrence purchased back in 2014.
News of the pregnancy has been received enthusiastically by fans who immediately took to social media to celebrate and share well-wishes for the star and her baby.

But perhaps most exciting is the possibility of JLaw’s baby becoming besties with pal Emma Stone’s daughter. Stone, who welcomed Louise Jean McCary with husband Dave earlier this year, has been fast friends with Lawrence ever since mutual co-star Woody Harrelson connected the two.
