Ariana Grande Reveals New Details of Makeup Line R.E.M Beauty
Ariana Grande’s makeup line, R.E.M Beauty, has been years in the making, and it’s almost here. Fans are getting their bank accounts ready for an announcement at any moment. Recently, Grande revealed what beauty products she plans to release.
The Grammy-winning singer shared how her first collection will focus on eye makeup, some of which will include mascara, fine-point eyeliner markers, false lashes, lipstick, matte, and glitter liquid eye shadows. This makeup chapter will be called “Ultraviolet.” Grande explained what she thought our eyes symbolize in an interview with Allure.
“Our main gateways to our dreams, our emotions, our everything. They’re our main storytellers and sources of communication. I feel like you can emote more with your eyes than you can articulate sometimes.”

The name of the beauty line derives from one of the song titles on her album Sweetener. It’s not a surprise that eye makeup will be the first product to launch. R.E.M stands for rapid eye movement, one of the stages of sleep. Grande isn’t the first celebrity to have their own makeup line. Celebrities like Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Halsey, to name a few, have their own line. The singer explained how there could never be too much makeup.

This may be Grande’s first makeup line, but she’s no stranger to the beauty industry. Over the summer, Grande dropped her seventh perfume named after her hit single “God is a Woman.”
