Harry Styles has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The One Direction member and “Watermelon Sugar” singer, 27, appears in Marvel’s upcoming film, The Eternals. Styles’ will be playing Thanos’ younger brother, Eros, aka Starfox.

Eros made his debut in 1973. Marvel described him as “a fun-loving, carefree womanizer in contrast to his brother Thanos, a power-hungry, misanthropic schemer. Only when Thanos launched his first major attack against Titan, an attack that left their mother Sui-San dead, did Eros begin to take life a bit more seriously. In subsequent campaigns against Thanos, Eros fought alongside Titan’s handful of survivors.” Eros, also known as Starfox, “joined the Kree Captain Mar-Vell and the Avengers in the first major defeat of Thanos.”

The Titan is the complete opposite of his older brother, in both personality and superpowers. Eros possesses the ability to control people’s emotions and pleasure centers. In addition, he’s an immortal who wields cosmic powers, including superhuman speed, reflexes, stamina, and strength.

Eternals stars Angelina Jolie (Thena), Richard Madden (Ikaris), Salma Hayek (Ajak), Kit Harrington (Black Knight), Gemma Chan (Sersi), Don Lee (Gilgamesh), Kumail Nanjani (Kingo), Berry Keoghan (Druig), and Lia McHugh (Sprite). The movie follows a group of immortal entities who have secretly lived on Earth for millennia. They will all join together to battle the Deviants, an evil group of beings.

Eternals will debut on November 5. In the meantime, fans can listen to Harry Styles’ music on all music streaming services and watch all Marvel movies/TV shows on Disney+.
