The cast of Eternals shined on the red carpet Monday night for the Hollywood premiere of the latest Marvel movie releasing November 5. In light of recent delays from Marvel Studios, this was the perfect time to ring in Phase 4 of the MCU.

Those in attendance included Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Salma Hayek, Brian Tyree Henry, Don Lee, Richard Madden, Lia McHugh, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, and Kit Harington. With such a strong ensemble cast, we don’t know who stood out more.

Though some standouts include Chan’s all-white gown adorned with lace and feathers and Nanjiani’s traditional sherwani.

Jolie (who plays the warrior Thena) brought her kids along to the premiere, who dressed up for the occasion. Her daughter, Zahara even wore Jolie’s silver gown from the 2014 Academy Awards (and fans are loving it).

Whether intentional or not, every actor seemed to embody their characters. Chan portrays Sersi, an immortal infatuated with humans. Meanwhile, Madden plays “all-powerful” Ikaris and Nanjiani’s character Kingo is described as “cosmic-powered.”

But it doesn’t stop there. McHugh portrays Sprite, an old soul in a young body, and Henry as the inventor Phastos. With superspeed, Ridloff will race onto our screens as Makkari and Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh. Rounding out the cast is Harrington as Dane Whitman and Hayek as the “wise and spiritual leader” Ajak.

Eternals is directed and written by Chloé Zhao (whose film Nomadland won an Academy Award for Best Picture in 2021). Zhao was joined by producers Kevin Feige and Nate Moore. Together, they have created a tale of “heroes from beyond the stars,” according to a press release.

“Marvel Studios’ “Eternals” follows a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man,” the release states. “When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.”

Now that the premiere has garnered the attention of fans everywhere, it’s only a matter of time before Eternals hits theaters. But its never too early to snag those tickets.
