Anya Taylor-Joy Becomes New Dior Global Ambassador
Anya Taylor-Joy has officially become the global ambassador of Dior’s fashion and beauty line. The Queen’s Gambit star, 25, is known for looking glamorous and wearing dresses by Dior on the red carpet. Some of the dresses include wearing an emerald dress at the Golden Globes and a canary yellow shawl and red lipstick at the 2021 Emmys.
The iconic brand said in an official statement, “Anya will partner with the brand, celebrating the iconic heritage of Dior, and showcasing the designs and creations of women’s creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri and creative and image director of makeup, Peter Philips.”
The actress is already an ambassador at Tiffany & Co which makes her the ambassador of two of the most prominent fashion lines. In an interview with InStyle in 2020, she revealed how her style is always evolving, and enjoys playing dress-up.
“I know it sounds silly, but because I’ve shot all of my projects back-to-back, you are only in your own clothes while going into work in the morning, then somebody gives you a costume, and then you put them on for like an hour at night to get home. So, I haven’t had a lot of time to work out my personal style.”

“I like to play dress up. It’s really fun to build an outfit rather than being stuck in any particular thing. Just deciding, ‘Okay, what kind of girl do I want to be today?’” stated Taylor-Joy.

With this new collaboration we can probably expect Anya Taylor-Joy to continue to wear Dior’s dresses during awards season. Fans can watch The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix and the new Super Mario Bros. film on December 21, 2022.
