Spotted: Jessica Szohr Releasing New Gossip Girl Podcast

Hey Upper East Siders, we have some news for you. Jessica Szohr, who played the spunky Brooklynite Vanessa Abrams, is releasing a new Gossip Girl podcast titled XOXO With Jessica Szohr.

In a Twitter announcement, Szohr takes a tour around some of Gossip Girl’s most notable spots, like the steps of the MET and the Empire State Building, complete with the opening car horns and drum beat.

She teases that she and her guests will spill secrets they never thought they would and, of course, ends the video with the famous XOXO phrase because is it really Gossip Girl without the proper sign-off?

The podcast is set to premiere on January 26, also known as “Gossip Girl Day” which was made a New York City holiday by former Mayor Bloomberg in 2012, in honor of the show reaching the 100 episode mark.

Gossip Girl depicts the lives of luxurious Upper East Side teenagers and their day-to-day life of going to school and scheming against their frenemies. The series was such a hit that it prompted a 2021 reboot, currently streaming on HBO Max.
