Teaser for New Song “Beg for You” Released by Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama
On January 20, pop icons Rina Sawayama and Charli XCX released a teaser for their new song “Beg For You,” to be released on Charli’s studio album Crash. The song will be released on January 27 for everyone to listen to.
This long-awaited studio album was first teased last year on December 19. Charli screenshots a chat with Sawayamwa. “Our voices work so well together,” the Japanese-British singer texts Charli. To which she replies, “U sound AMAZING. Seriously crushed it! I loveeeeeee it!”
Over a month later, the two singers start to release teasers and previews. The long-awaited song and album are finally coming together for the internet to listen to.
First, Sawayama releases a TikTok of a behind-the-scene music video shoot of her and Charli in angelic white dresses. After the teaser on TikTok, Charli posts a photo of the two sensations together on her Instagram. “It’s finally happening… angels and pixels assemble and follow us into the light 🕯beg for you drops on Thursday…”
Charli has promised that her new record will have a different concept. In an interview with InStyle, the pop star said that her new album will be “kind of all about sex and sexuality.” “It can make people dance and cry at the same time. It’s a vibe.”
Fans on social media are extremely excited for the song to release. “Beg For You” may just be the next bop for the new year of 2022.

“Beg For You” officially releases on January 27. Fans can pre-save the song on music services Deezer and Spotify.
