Everything You Need to Know About Disney’s New Cheaper by the Dozen
Disney+ will release a new comedy film Cheaper by the Dozen, based on the 2003 film. It will star Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union, a husband and wife duo with ten children – a potential family fiasco?
The Baker family is back and better than ever. This time, director Gail Lerner and screenwriters Kenya Barris and Jennifer Rice-Genzuk Henry bring together Paul (Braff) and Zoey (Union) as parents of a new multiracial family of ten children.
The reboot comes out 18 years after the release of the 2003 film starring Steven Martin and Bonnie Hunt, based on the 1950 film and autobiographical book (1948) by Frank Bunker Gilberth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey.
“We’re weird. We’re one of a kind all the way,” Zoey says in the trailer. According to the original synopsis, Cheaper by the Dozen is a “[…]funny and heartwarming story of the raucous exploits of a blended family of 12, the Bakers, as they navigate a hectic home life while simultaneously managing their family business.”
