Kehlani Announces New Single and Album
If it’s new R&B music fans want, then it’s new R&B music they’ll get. Kehlani has blessed their listeners with announcing a new single and new album.
Kehlani posted a video of their writing on a notepad on their Instagram Monday where they revealed an album could be coming to listeners very soon. The “Honey” singer wrote, “The album has been done for a while…I thought I’d give you something that means a lot to me in the meantime….” Kehlani finished their sweet message by writing, “See you sooner than you think.”
A day later, Kehlani posted the cover art for their new single titled “Little Story,” which will release on February 24. This came after the Oakland native changed their profile picture, which indicates that this is the beginning of a new era. The black and white cover is drastically different from their usual bright and warm cover art, leading some to believe that the new music could be more personal and stripped back.
Kehlani’s last single, “Altar,” was released in September 2021, and fans are so excited to be getting new music from the two-time Grammy-nominated singer.
