Simone Biles Talks Wedding Plans, Babies, and More in New Q&A
Olympic gymnast Simone Biles shared wedding details, future family plans, and more with NFL player and fiancé Jonathan Owens in a recent Q&A on Instagram. The couple, who got engaged on Valentine’s Day this year, took to Biles’ Instagram story to address everything they have in store for their wedding and beyond. In fact, they already know where they want to tie the knot. “BEACH,” the 24-year-old gold medalist revealed, “It will be a destination wedding.”
Despite being engaged for less than a month, the pair wasted no time beginning preparations for the big day. “Wedding planning has been going so well so far,” Biles stated a week after their engagement was announced, “It’s so exciting for me. I’m obsessed.” However, the Olympian admits that she and her husband-to-be cannot do everything alone. In her Instagram story, she revealed that they will be hiring a planner to help out because they are also busy building a house at the moment.
And it appears there might be a baby (or three) in their future. When asked about potential children with her fiancé Owens, Biles responded, “So, I want two kids. He always says he wants a football team, but usually he says three. We’ll see.”
Biles just said yes to not one, but two wedding dresses on Saturday. Israeli designer Galia Lahav posted several behind-the-scenes shots of Biles flaunting two stunning gowns at her fitting on Instagram. The final photo displays the athlete holding a framed sign stating, “I said yes to the dress at Galia Lahav LA.”
