Phoebe Bridgers New ‘Sidelines’ Music Video Released
Phoebe Bridgers’ “Sidelines” music video was released on Wednesday during her ongoing Reunion Tour. This song was created for Conversations with Friends, a Hulu Original series. The new video was directed by her brother, Jackson Bridgers and the visuals contain a montage of clips taken on tour.
The “Sidelines” video falls in line with Phoebe Bridgers’ style: pulling at heart strings. The clips include everyone from tour members on and off the stage, to family and friends. It gives a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes life of an artist on tour. We see her sharing wholesome moments with the people that she loves, whether they’re on her tour bus or crowds of fans appreciating her in a sea of excitement. The compilation of performances and bonding moments between everyone off the stage makes the “Sidelines” video a happy tear-jerker.
Paul Mescal, who has been in a relationship with Bridgers for a while now, makes a cameo in the video. The couple isn’t one that always posts or talks about being together, so this is already catching the attention of fans. It really is adorable to see the two experiencing this tour together.

“Sidelines” made its first debut live performance on its release date on April 15. Now there’s a beautiful video to accompany the memories made alongside it. It’s like an ode to love and appreciation. There may not be another music video compiling the rest of her Reunion Tour, but the “Sidelines” music video shows what a beautiful experience it has been so far.
