BLACKPINK’s New Single ‘Pink Venom’ Will Arrive on August 19
The iconic K-pop girl band BLACKPINK has announced their new single is just around the corner. The group tweeted the upcoming song “Pink Venom” from their new album Born Pink will drop on August 19 at midnight EST. The song will drop a month before the release of their upcoming new album BORN PINK, which will be released on September 16. Fans can pre-save their new album on Spotify and Apple Music.
YG Entertainment also released the schedule for BLACKPINK’s upcoming world tour, “BORN PINK” which begins in October. YG Entertainment has labeled the group’s tour as “the largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group.”

BLACKPINK consists of four members, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé. This is BLACKPINK’s first album since their return with The Album in October 2020. Since then, BLACKPINK members have focused on individual projects such as Jennie’s single “SOLO,” Rosé’s solos “On the Ground” and “Gone,” Lisa’s solos “LALISA” and “MONEY,” and Jisoo’s acting role in the TV series Snowdrop. Each member is a global ambassador of luxury brands such as Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, and Celine. Recently, Jennie surprised fans by joining the cast of the Weeknd’s HBO series, The Idol.
BLACKPINK shared the music video for their song in collaboration with PUBG, “Ready For Love,” on July 29. The girl group also recently celebrated six years since its debut on August 8, 2016, with the song “Boombayah.” Since their debut, they have been making history as the first K-pop group to make it to the headliner of Coachella. BLACKPINK has succeeded in chart-topping every album, including Square One (2016), Square Two (2016), Square Up (2018), Kill This Love (2019), and The Album (2020).
