Megan Thee Stallion shows the importance of taking care of your mental health with her website “Bad B—es Have Bad Days Too,” a new platform full of resources, hotlines, and links to free therapy.

Megan Thee Stallion is normalizing talking about mental health with the recent launch of her website called, “Bad B—es Have Bad Days Too.” This website provides a plethora of resources relaying information on ways to cope with mental health issues. Some resources include various substance abuse help, free therapy organizations, and links to different crisis hotlines.

The site is in collaboration with her new song “Anxiety,” which came out on August 12. It portrays Megan’s journey and struggles with anxiety, depression, and grief.

In a Facebook Watch interview with Taraji P. Henson in October 2021, Megan stated, “I’ve lost both of my parents. Now I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, who do I talk to? What do I do?’” she continues, “I just started learning that it’s OK to ask for help and it’s OK to want to go get therapy.”

Megan pays special attention to those in need of help in various marginalized communities. There is a subsection of therapy resources for Black men and women on the site and helpful links to related group organizations they can join. In addition, she provides resources for the LGBTQIA+ community with links to various queer-friendly hotlines, including the LGBT National Youth Talkline, Trans Lifeline, The Steve Fund Crisis Textline, and Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

The singer spoke publicly about allegedly getting shot by rapper Tory Lanez in 2020. She received a large number of negative responses on social media, spiraling her into a dark place. This website and these resources gave her a way not only to cope but to create awareness for such a challenging subject.

There is a quote at the bottom of Megan’s website, “Sometimes I just hate everyone,” followed by a “Find a Therapist” button underneath that redirects users to a psychologist locator provided by the American Psychological Association.

Megan has taken her platform to a new level with this website, and we can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. You can watch the video for her song “Anxiety” below.
