“I hurt people when I get angry. The scariest part is that I’m starting to like the way that it feels,” Leanne declares as she aggressively pushes someone off a balcony under a pinkish ambient light.

Leanne Grayson has been welcomed into the Turner family ever since the death of their child. Dorothy believes the life-like therapeutic silicone baby doll is her real infant.

When Leanne enters the scene as the family’s servant, a real-life infant appears, replacing the doll, raising the family’s suspicions. However, Dorothy is enamored with her child, not even noticing the difference between her silicone doll and the real baby.

After three seasons of mystery, suspense, and murder, Leanne Grayson has transformed from a subservient character to a psychotic force of nature. Although Leanne looms over them as a menacing threat, the Turner family is also faced with confronting the reality of Dorothy snapping out of her delusion.

Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under) is reprising her character as Dorothy Turner alongside Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), who embodies the role of her strained husband, Sean Turner. Harry Potter alum Rupert Grint returns to the series as Julian Pearce, who is also set to star in Shyamalan’s new film, Kock at the Cabin. Nell Tiger Free (Game of Thrones) revels in her character, Leanne Grayson’s evolution, showcasing a transformative and evocative performance.

The series creator, M. Night Shyamalan, directs the Servant alongside his daughter, Ishana Shyamalan. She has written and directed several episodes of the thriller series, revealing that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Carlo Mirabella-Davis, known for his 2019 psychological drama Swallow, joins the directing team. Dylan Holmes (The Devil’s Harmony), award-winning Celine Held (Modern Love), Logan George (Caroline), and many more will also be set to direct episodes of the hit series.

Season 4 is expected to be the conclusion of the anticipated series. In this season of the Servant, Shyamalan will finally answer the series’ titular questions: who is Leanne? And who is the child in their household? Tune in to Apple TV+ on January 13 to watch the season finale. In addition, fans can see what is in store in the Servant’s trailer below.
