A Good Person Is Coming to the Big Screen
A Good Person will be starring the Academy Award nominee Florence Pugh and Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman. Look out for this movie in select theaters on March 24, and everywhere else on March 31.
In A Good Person, Florence Pugh stars as Allison, and Morgan Freeman as Daniel. The film will also be featuring fellow actors, Molly Shannon (Other People) as Diane, Chinaza Uche (Dickinson) as Nathan, and Celeste O’Connor (Ghostbusters: Afterlife) as Ryan.
The movie centers around a woman named Allison, who had a bright future ahead of her, surrounded by her family and friends. However one day, her world starts to fall apart when she gets into a car accident. Allison was able to make it out alive, but her soon-to-be sister-in-law, unfortunately, passed away. Then, Allison starts losing hope, spiraling into an opioid addiction to cope with her grief. Later, she forms a friendship with Daniel, who would have been her father-in-law. Daniel helps Allison to move forward with her life and not lose hope.

Florence Pugh tells PEOPLE: “This is the first time I’ve had the pleasure and the privilege of watching how the art is made from the very beginning to the very end. I am so proud of this creation, I’m so grateful to all those who jumped on board this crazy journey with us.”
Before the movie, Director Zach Braff and Florence Pugh had a romantic history in the past. But he tells PEOPLE: “Florence Pugh’s performance in the movie, I know I’m biased, but it’s the most miraculous thing you will ever see. I know that anything Florence does is incredible. People say she’s maybe the best actress of her generation. I think she’s one of the best actresses working. This performance she gives is unbelievable.”
