Miley Cyrus Announces New Album Endless Summer Vacation
New Year, New Miley. The “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer announced her eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation. Her upcoming album will follow her 2020 rock masterpiece, Plastic Hearts.
Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party was co-hosted by Cyrus’ godmother, Dolly Parton. The singers joined forces to dazzle audiences with a medley of hits, including a mash-up of “Wrecking Ball” and “I Will Always Love You.” The party also brought out special faces including David Byrne, Fletcher, Latto, Liily, Paris Hilton, Rae Sremmurd, and Sia.
In true Miley fashion, she also revealed an exciting announcement: New music is on the way. The track “Flowers” will serve as the lead single to Endless Summer Vacation. Cyrus recorded the song in Los Angeles with production by Mike Will Made-It, Greg Kurstin, Tyler Johnson, and Kid Harpoon. The “Midnight Sky” singer unveiled the album announcement with a minute-long trailer.
In addition to the album announcement, Cyrus also shared the stunning album cover. The singer rocks a bold red lip, black unitard, sunglasses, and heels. She clutches a trapeze bar with a deep blue background behind her.
The record is described as a “love letter to L.A. that showcases the confidence she’s found since focusing on her mental and physical well-being.”
Although it is only January, Miley Cyrus has promised fans that this record will undoubtedly be the record of the summer. “Flowers” will be released on January 13. Endless Summer Vacation arrives on March 10. In the meantime, fans can still watch the memorable Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party on Peacock.
