Saturday Night Live has had several iconic monologues in its 48-year-run history, and actress Keke Palmer truly delivered in her debut. She states, “People have been in my comments, saying ‘Keke’s having a baby. Keke’s pregnant.’ And I want to set the record straight. I am.” Palmer suddenly unveiled her baby bump, delighting audiences everywhere.

After breaking the internet following the December 3 SNL episode, Palmer has continued to document several epic maternity moments. The actress teamed up with photographer David LaChapelle to deliver a groundbreaking moment in maternity photoshoot history.

LaChapelle took to Instagram to reveal his latest masterpiece. He captioned the post, “The moon and the stars,” set to the beautiful tune, “The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face” by Roberta Flack. The duo undoubtedly landed among the stars.

Palmer agreed with LaChapelle’s creative vision, writing, “It’s giving POETRY. It’s giving MICHAELANGELO. It’s giving SISTINE CHAPEL. It’s giving MASTERPIECE.”

She elaborates, “behold, a mother, a father, and the blessed baby we await in pure awe. The greatest gift from above we could ever dream. We can’t wait to meet you little one! We are so glad to be your earth parents as God’s hands are placed so gently over your life.”

The actress ended her post by thanking Nicki Minaj for connecting her with LaChapelle. Minaj famously collaborated with LaChapelle during her pregnancy in 2020.
