The band, boygenius, is back together again. Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus return with three new songs.

After gifting fans with their 2018 EP, the trio will release their debut album, The Record, on March 31 via Interscope/Polydor Records. The surprise announcement also came with a whopping three singles showcasing the talented vocalists.

Julien Baker leads the track “$20,” and it is every bit of an indie-rocker. Although a different vibe than what fans of boygenius are used to, Baker delivers.

Phoebe Bridgers provides the main vocals on “Emily I’m Sorry.” The track finds Bridgers connecting back to her Punisher roots, a record that catapulted the singer to superstardom. Her sophomore record was nominated for four Grammys.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, “Emily I’m Sorry” was the song that Bridgers sent to her bandmates asking if they could please become a band again.

The final single is led by Lucy Dacus. “True Blue” pairs Dacus’ voice with gorgeous harmonies and guitar. The track also appears to be reminiscent of Dacus’ previous work, Home Video.

In addition to the album and singles, the tracklist for The Record has been unveiled:

01 “Without You Without Them”
02 “$20”
03 “Emily I’m Sorry”
04 “True Blue”
05 “Cool About It”
06 “Not Strong Enough”
07 “Revolution O”
08 “Leonard Cohen”
09 “Satanist”
10 “We’re In Love”
11 “Anti-Curse”
12 “Letter To An Old Poet”

Congratulations to boygenius on creating more incredible music. We cannot be more excited for the first full-length album. The band’s debut, The Record, will be available on March 31. In the meantime, fans can stream the latest singles on any major music platform.
