Euphoria star Angus Cloud is being accused of taking part in a hit-and-run last week in Marina del Rey, California.

Angus Cloud has become a viral sensation for his role on HBO’s Euphoria. Cloud plays Fezco, a drug dealer who fans have fallen in love with because of his sweet demeanor. He stars alongside Zendaya, who embodies the role of Rue. Zendaya won Emmys for Lead Actress in a Drama series for both seasons of the show in 2020 and 2022.

Last week, Cloud and another male were driving in Marina del Rey when they allegedly hit another vehicle. Their SUV is claimed to have taken off into another parking lot after the incident. According to TMZ, the person hit in the incident has suffered bruising and redness on her arms and legs. A witness, who knew the victim, went to look for Cloud’s SUV to no avail. The outlet also obtained images of the damaged SUV.

Law enforcement has stated that Cloud is not an official suspect, but would like to speak to him to assess his involvement. However, if found guilty, the star could be charged with a hit-and-run, which a felony in California.

This is not the first time a Euphoria star has been allegedly involved in a crime. Chloe Cherry, who stars as Faye on the HBO drama, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft in January. The incident appears to have been a misunderstanding. Cherry paid for other items with her credit card before leaving with the unpaid blouse. Police officers claimed that Cherry admitted to taking the blouse and had returned it to the police.

However, the star’s representative told a different story. They told TMZ, “…there was confusion over a blouse that wasn’t properly charged to my client’s credit card. In no way did she ‘admit’ to taking the blouse, since that was not the case.” This incident led to mass traction online, with many confused by the choice to “steal” a $28 blouse. Some responded differently and created memes based on the situation.

Whether or not Cloud or Cherry are guilty of their alleged crimes, the internet will not let them live it down for a while. But, if you’re interested in watching the pair onscreen, Euphoria is streaming on HBO Max.
