Rare Beauty is Launching a Brand-New Set of Lip Oils
Rare Beauty is dropping a set of eight new tinted lip oils inspired by the cult favorite Soft Pinch blushes. Selena Gomez spent two years refining the formula for her new lip products, which will be available for purchase in stores starting on March 30.
If there is any celebrity makeup brand that everyone and their mothers on TikTok love, it has got to be Selena Gomez’s Rare beauty, specifically the ultra-pigmented liquid blushes, aka the Soft Pinch blushes. The actor/singer delivered not one but many viral products because of the inclusive shades and packaging (which might add are disability-friendly too.) Hot off the press, Rare beauty just announced the launch of a new range of lip oils dedicated to the iconic liquid blushes themselves.
The Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil, as Gomez describes, is an “innovative lip jelly that transforms into a lightweight oil, giving your lips the perfect pinch of color and shine.” Unlike other lip tints that can be very drying, Rare Beauty’s goal was to make this product as comfortable and buildable as possible, in addition to creating “the same effect that the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush does for cheeks.”
Gomez also mentions, “this lip oil has a really special texture. It’s comfortable and applies like a jelly but transforms into an oil that’s nourishing. One swipe and your lips look so full. I love how easy you can build up the color without it getting sticky.”
This Lip oil already looks very promising, as it contains jojoba seed oil, that’s known to provide mega hydration, and sunflower seed oil, which is a great source of antioxidants. In addition to having great ingredients, the product is versatile as it can be paired with other lip products, making it easy to achieve a custom finish. The eight shades include some six already existing shades and two new shades, exclusive to this line, “Affection,” a deep berry, and “Delight,” a forgiving warm rose brown.
These shades will be available for purchase at Sephora and the RareBeauty website starting from March 30 and can be bought for $20 each.
