Tyler tweeted earlier Monday that Call Me If You Get Lost was his first album that had a lot of shelved songs. He revealed that he would release some of these tracks for the first time in an extension of the album, which he is calling Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale. “Some of the songs I really love and knew they would never see the light of day, so I’ve decided to put a few of them out,” he wrote.

Fans pointed out that Tyler tends to release albums every odd year. He released Goblin in 2011, Cherry Bomb in 2015, Flower Boy in 2017, Igor in 2019, and finally Call Me If You Get Lost in 2021. With 2023 being the next odd-numbered year, fans have held out hopes for the artist’s continued streak.

His first released track off The Estate Sale is “Dogtooth.” The music video debuted on YouTube alongside the single. Tyler starred in the video, decked out in GOLF Le Fleur merchandise. GOLF is Tyler’s apparel line, which features merchandise from the Call Me If You Get Lost era.

The song is short under 3 minutes. It has Tyler’s classic nostalgic sound, characteristically cool and low-key, while still being groovy and completely original. It speaks to his weird yet familiar, glamorized, old-school aesthetic perfectly.

In the music video, he apathetically strolls through a construction site in a pristine ochre puffer vest, perfectly tailored flannel, and his own designer trucker hat. “Don’t call me king, I’m not your man / I’m not your brother, we just met,” he sings. In true Call Me If You Get Lost fashion, Tyler remains his same cinematic, talented self.

Call Me If You Get Lost won Best Rap Album at the 2022 Grammys. If his previous win is any indicator, The Estate Sale could be an overnight classic.

On his website, Tyler already has merchandise and music for pre-order. Although he hasn’t announced how many songs are in the collection, the vinyl’s availability for pre-order reveals that The Estate Sale turns a double LP album into a triple.

Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale debuts on March 31. Fans can pre-order the album on Tyler, the Creator’s official website.
