Victoria Justice gained fame as a child star on the hit Nickelodeon series Zoey 101. She went on to star in multiple other Nickelodeon originals, most notably, Victorious. Justice has continued to act and sing in the time since the series ended.

Victorious is an iconic series from the childhoods of many. The series also featured an all-star cast, including Elizabeth Gillies, Leon Thomas III, and Ariana Grande. Since the time the series has been off the air, however, drama has emerged.

In 2017, a clip of the cast emerged, becoming a meme. In the clip, Gillies gushed about Grande’s voice and how often she sang on set. Justice then crossed her arms and replied, “I think we all sing.” Grande actually agreed with Justice’s statement, however, that part was removed from the viral clip.

This meme spiraled into the rumor that Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice had feuded during their time as costars. Recently, however, Justice put the rumors to rest in an interview with E! News. The star revealed that she spoke with Grande at the time of the meme. Justice shared, “Ariana texted me and we both were like, ‘This is so stupid.'”

Justice continued, “the biggest rumor is this whole narrative that was created with me being jealous of her and of us not being friends.” She then mentioned how social media creates drama. Justice explained, “it’s this constant story of the media and people wanting to pit people against each other, and it’s just so not even relevant anymore now.”

Fans are empathetic to Justice because of the online hate she has continued to receive for the alleged “feud.” Many agree that the rumor is tired, especially since Victorious was released over a decade ago.

Despite the drama, the cast still appears to be close. In 2020, they celebrated the series’ ten-year anniversary with a Zoom reunion. There have also been rumors of a Victorious reboot, although nothing has been confirmed. In the meantime, the entire sitcom is streaming on Paramount+.
