Industry Season 3 Gets New Cast Member, Barry Star Sarah Goldberg
Barry star, Sarah Goldberg, will continue her career at HBO in a new recurring guest star role for season 3 of the hit drama Industry.
Goldberg gained widespread acclaim for portraying Sally Reed on HBO’s dark comedy crime series, Barry. She even garnered an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy for her work on the series in 2019.
Goldberg stars alongside Bill Hader, the series creator, producer, writer, director, and star. Hader has been nominated for eight Emmy Awards, winning two for his role as Barry Berkman. The series is currently in its fourth and final season.
Despite Barry‘s end, Goldberg will continue her time with HBO for a recurring guest star role in Season 3 of Industry. She will embody Petra Koenig, a portfolio manager at the ethical investment fund FutureDawn. Other season 3 guest stars include Kit Harington, who will embody the CEO of Lumi.
HBO’s synopsis of the hit series states, “Industry gives an insider’s view of the blackbox of high finance following a group of young bankers as they forge their identities within the pressure cooker environment and sex and drug-fueled blitz of international bank Pierpoint & Co’s London office.”
Industry season 3 will consist of eight episodes. Its logline states, “As Pierpoint looks to the future and takes a big bet on ethical investing, the desk find themselves front and center in the splashy IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company — in a story that runs all the way to the very top of finance, media and government.” Fans are excited to see what the workplace drama has in store for its latest season.

Fans are also eager to see Goldberg in more mainstream roles, especially after her stellar performance in Barry.

Production has just recently begun on Industry, but the series’ first two seasons are streaming on HBO Max. To keep up with Goldberg, Barry is streaming new episodes weekly on HBO Max.
