Doja Cat Gives Emma Chamberlain Interview of a Lifetime at the 2023 Met Gala
Doja Cat gave Emma Chamberlain a fun, unintelligible interview at the 2023 Met Gala.
Doja Cat lived up to her name for the Met, having her outfit, makeup, and prosthetics done as a cat, and the artist only answered questions in the form of a “meow.” Her interview with Chamberlain has gone viral on TikTok due to the sheer awkwardness and humor in it.
Chamberlain effortlessly interviewed guests at the Met for Vogue this year and went viral last year for her interview with Jack Harlow. Doja gave her a run for her money with this year’s interview, but Chamberlain still pulled it off by going along with it.
I think Doja Cat is the only person Emma Chamberlain couldn’t effortlessly interview on the Met Gala red carpet.. but kudos to her, she did as best as anyone could with that

The 2023 Met theme was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” a tribute to the work of the late Karl Lagerfeld. Lagerfeld was a German fashion designer who contributed to Chanel, Balmain, and Chloé and passed in 2019. Doja was dressed up as Lagerfeld’s beloved cat, Choupette.
Doja’s dedication to the look was undeniably respectable, and the singer stayed in character for most of the night as well. The interview with Chamberlain has attracted a lot of attention on social media, with fans praising Doja for her commitment to the cat costume.
Doja Cat was not the only star who showed up as a cat; Jared Leto donned a full furry cat costume to pay tribute to Choupette. Leto is known for his wacky outfits when it comes to the Met, bringing a human-like model of his head for the 2019 Met Gala.

Being one of the most on-theme guests, Doja Cat’s look will stand out in history from this year’s Met Gala. It’s also just another thing we get to see come out of her quirky personality. Emma Chamberlain also looked stunning and did a great job of keeping the flow of conversations in her interviews for Vogue.
