Oppenheimer Releases New Trailer
With its all-star cast and exciting visuals, Oppenheimer is becoming one of the buzziest films of the summer. A new trailer for the film has just been released, along with first looks at some interesting characters.
Oppenheimer tells the true story of the creation of the atomic bomb. Starring Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, the film explores his large contributions to the Manhattan Project. This film will come out on July 21 in IMAX. Director Christopher Nolan often goes big with his projects; this film is no exception. Even though the film will have quite a bit of black and white, a first for IMAX, there will still be a lot of excitement on screen, which the latest trailer affirms.
The newest trailer, came out on May 8 after appearing in theaters with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The trailer starts with the preparation for a bomb explosion, which cuts to a stressed Oppenheimer, who is dedicating his life to the Manhattan Project. The story takes place during World War II, with the project creating a historic victory against the Nazis. Filled with high-stakes music and worry across every character’s face, this trailer contains a lot of stressful scenes. There are shots in deserts, labs, and government offices, all key locations for the success of this bomb. The trailer ending with a dramatic countdown proves a wild ride is ahead.

Nolan has cemented himself as one of the greatest and most visionary directors of modern times. His films have captivating imagery and action-packed stories. His big break came with Memento, a movie that left viewers with agonizing introspection.
His Batman trilogy would then bring his cinematic talents into the mainstream, allowing him to create unique films such as Inception, Interstellar, and Dunkirk. His latest movie, Tenet, confused audiences but had enthralling visual effects, with stunt doubles coordinating stunts backward. Nolan has an impressive filmography, and that is building up anticipation for Oppenheimer.
With the release of the ‘Oppenheimer’ movie trailer, I feel that the timing of this moving could not be more perfect given the state of the planet right now.

Filming began in January 2022 in various locations including California, New Mexico, and New Jersey. The filming wrapped in May 2022 with the first teaser trailer being released on July 2022.

Oppenheimer will be an expensive movie, as it has to make 400 million dollars to make a profit. The newest trailer felt like an exciting film all on its own, which is promising for what’s to come this summer.
